My Brothers,

For your summer assignment I would like for you to reflect on your formation over the past few months and you are being formed.  I request that you prepare a two page paper that addresses the following:

Page 1 What in your life is different as a result of your time in formation and what changes have you detected in your own attitudes, prayer life, approach to others, etc.  Please provide examples where they would be useful.

Page 2 What does discernment mean to you today and has that changed since you began formation?  Specifically mention what you are doing to discern if the vocation to the Permanent Diaconate is what God is calling you to.  Has formation thus far made you more peace filled or more unsettled?

Your paper should be no more than two pages.  I request that you provide it to me by email in Microsoft Word format.  The page size should be 8.5 x 11 and please use Times Roman size 11 font with single spacing.

The paper is due not later than September 1, 2011.
